Bobby Brown is convinced he has no reason to be concerned about his daughter Bobbi Kristina's health amid allegations of her drug-taking, insisting he's aware of everything she does.
The My Prerogative singer's only child with his late ex-wife Whitney Houston has been caught up in the occasional tabloid scandal in recent years, and was previously caught on camera snorting a mystery white powder, thought to be cocaine, during a party.
She talks to me about everything
The photos were published by the National Enquirer and further images of the teenager smoking what appeared to be marijuana from a bong emerged weeks after her mother's death.
But, while former addict Brown admits he will "always be worried" abouthis kids getting mixed up in drugs, he is adamant 19-year-old Bobbi Kristina is doing just fine - and he has blamed erroneous gossip for the rumours.
During a pre-taped interview on U.S. breakfast show Today, which aired on Thursday (03May12), he said, "I know what she is actually doing. I think people are, you know, making assumptions of what my daughter is and how strong she is.
"People tend to want to control strong-willed people. And that's what I see... (But) right now, no, no, no (he has no reason to worry about drugs).
"I am her father. She talks to me about everything".
Brown has another four kids from other relationships. Three of them - LaPrincia, Landon and Bobby, Jr. - joined their father on the show to dismiss accusations he's a bad dad.
The grown-up Brown children insisted Bobby's wild man reputation is undeserved and he's a great father they can always count on.
