Arrest Warrant out for Bobby Brown

R&B singer Bobby Brown is a wanted man in Boston, Massachusetts after skipping a recent court appearance relating to outstanding child support payments.

Whitney Houston's ex-husband is accused of failing to hand over $45,000(£30,000) to his former girlfriend Kim Ward, with whom he shares two teenage children.

He was scheduled to appear in court to face the allegation on 29 June (09) but never showed up for the appointment.

Now he is facing jail the next time he steps foot in Massachusetts - Norfolk Judge Christina Harms issued an arrest warrant for Brown after ruling he was in contempt of court during a hearing on Friday (14Aug09).

Brown, who became a dad for the fifth time in June (09), has previouslyserved time behind bars for failing to meet his child support commitments - he was jailed for four days in 2007 after skipping payments to Ward.
