Bono Helps Charities Because He’s Overpaid

U2 Star Bono dedicates his life to fundraising for charitable causes because he is "over-rewarded" for his work.
The Irish singer has amassed a multi-million dollar personal fortune estimated at $640 million (£400 million) since rising to fame with the One hitmakers in the 1980s.
Bono and his bandmates have established themselves as rock superstars - and the frontman is well aware he's lucky to live such a comfortable lifestyle, so he insists on giving back to the community to help out those less fortunate.
He tells OK.co.uk, "I am very well paid, overpaid and even over-rewarded for what I do." Bono has become a leading celebrity force in the fight against poverty and disease in Africa and has met with various world leaders to raise awareness about the tragic plight of millions of AIDS victims on the continent.

I hope that quote is true, because my opinion of him has just gone up! He is over-rewarded in my opinion too ;)
