Bono invites blind fan to perform on stage with U2

Bono gave one of his fans a night to remember at a concert in Nashville on Sunday night as the blind man and his wife were invited onto the stage to perform with the rockers.

When the rocker was finishing his set on the latest stop on the U2 360 world tour, he spotted the fan and his sign to perform a song for his wife.

Approaching the lucky fan, Bono asked him what he wanted to play and asked him on stage to join the band.

The frontman announced: "Get a guitar for this dude. Gents, we have a surprise guest."

The nervous fan, met with an incredible applause, began playing All I Want Is You, as the band joined in.

Bono was impressed and insisted the grateful man took the guitar home to remember the night that he was a brief member of U2.
