Rocker Bret Michaels has paid tribute to his IN GOD'S HANDS director ZALMAN KING, who lost his cancer battle on Friday (03Feb12).
Many condolences to his family
The Poison star befriended the filmmaker while making his movie debut in King's 1998 action movie, playing a young surfer.
He has now taken to his Twitter.com page to share a photo of himself with King, writing, "Zalman King and I... This photo was taken in Bali while filming In God's Hands for Sony Pictures".
Michaels adds, "Zalman King, a great director and more so a good friend... Many condolences to his family".
King, best known for steamy thrillers including Wild Orchid and 9 12 Weeks, was 69 when he died in Los Angeles.
