Rocker Bret Michaels has called off his engagement to the woman who nursed him through a series of medical emergencies in 2010.
Although the couple have separated, they remain great friends and are committed to jointly raising their two daughters, Raine and Jorja
Kristi Gibson, the Poison star's longtime girlfriend and the mother of Michaels' two daughters, has split from The Rock star, ending a 16-year romance.
The 49-year-old singer asked Gibson to be his wife in December, 2010 as part of the finale of his VH1 reality show Bret Michaels Life As I Know It.
A spokesman for Michaels says, "Although the couple have separated, they remain great friends and are committed to jointly raising their two daughters, Raine and Jorja".
