American Idol star Adam Lambert's post-talent show career has been given a huge boost - Queen's Brian May likes what he has heard so far.
Lambert performed with May and rockers Queen on the last season of Idoland gave the guitar great a preview of his first release, which will feature in John Cusack's new apocalypse movie 2012.
I have to say I was completely blown away... It's truly sensational. It's so obviously a number one smash, any bookie (bookmaker) would be mad to take bets on it. I am not kidding
The project has been top secret, but May couldn't contain his excitement on his blog.

The movie will be released in October and Lambert's debut album is set for release in November (09).

Anything that is sung by Adam is bound to be spectacular. For Brian May to emote about the song , only backs this up!
