Britney Spears’ new album Femme Fatale has gone straight to no 1 of the U.S charts, scoring Britney her sixth number one album overseas. The album got 276,000 first-week sales.
The feat ties Britney for the third-most number one albums among women with Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson. Only Barbra Streisand (nine) and Madonna (seven) have landed more at the top.
It's also a great week for rapper Wiz Khalifa, who debuts Rolling Papers at number two with impressive first-week sales of 197,000.
Adele's 21 stays put at three, while last week's number one from Chris Brown (F.A.M.E.) slips to four on the new countdown.
Radiohead, Snoop Dogg and gospel duo Mary Mary all debut new albums in the top 10 at six, eight and 10 respectively.
