Bruce Springsteen's values echo what the President and Vice President stand for hard work, fairness, integrity

Bruce Springsteen has signed up to rock for the U.S. Democrats for a third successive election after agreeing to headline two upcoming campaign events for President Barack Obama.

The Boss, who supported John Kerry's unsuccessful bid for the presidency eight years ago and Obama's election charge in 2008, will hit the campaign trail with former U.S. leader Bill Clinton in Parma, Ohio next week and he's also set to perform a short set at a rally in Ames, Iowa.

Obama campaign manager Jim Messina says, "Bruce Springsteen's values echo what the President and Vice President stand for hard work, fairness, integrity. His appearances will help with our get out the vote effort in these critical swing states and we are thrilled with his ongoing support".
