Canadian rock star Bryan Adams has called in cops - over fears he has been stalked by a crazed mother and son.Adams, who lives in Chelsea, west London, has reportedly been hounded by the obsessed fans for a number of weeks.

He doesn't want them to get in any serious trouble, but he really wants to be left alone by them

The pair, believed to be Romanian, first approached the star in a restaurant requesting an autograph, and have since turned up at his home. And now a concerned Adams has contacted police in the hope of warning off the pair.A source tells London's Evening Standard newspaper, "He doesn't want them to get in any serious trouble, but he really wants to be left alone by them".A police spokesman says, "We are investigating allegations of harassment by a man in his late 40s. There have been no arrests and inquiries continue".
