Can you Believe Blakey Ditched The DeLorean For This?!

Don’t get me wrong, I am a bike fan, but can you believe that Blake star Stephen Bowman has gone back to the future and is swapping his DeLorean for life on two wheels after taking delivery of a  Yamaha WR125 X last week!

The former model, who now performs with the double Classical Brit nominated band Blake, decided to make the switch after missing rehearsals at the Albert Hall this month when his ‘time machine’ got stuck in rush-hour traffic. Stephen has had potential buyers from all over the world enquiring about the car, including GMTV and Sky News presenter Eamonn Holmes who contacted the singer via Twitter.
 
The DeLorean became one of the world’s most iconic cars after its appearance as a time machine in the hit film franchise Back to the Future, however its appeal has proven no match for a motorbike when it comes to the convenience getting around towns and cities.
 
Now all four members of Blake (Stephen Bowman, Humphrey Berney, Jules Knight and Oliver Baines) have successfully completed their CBT – the training required to be able to ride a motorcycle or scooter up to a capacity of 125cc – switching from four wheels to two.
