Carl Barat Rocks Japan

British Rocker Carl Barat was caught up in an earthquake in Japan whilst promoting his album.

The Libertines frontman is currently touring the Far East to promote his debut solo album and was in the capital, Tokyo, last week when the 6.9-magnitude tremor hit.

In a personal message to fans, he writes, "I have just come down from spending time with my band in the sulphurous springs of Eastern Japan and watched monkeys swimming amongst the steam, we also got hit by a mini earthquake in Tokyo which was very odd."
