Carl Barat to Hit Theater Stage... Rocker Carl Barat is set to hit the West End stage in London next year (10) after signing on to appear in two new plays.

The Libertines and Dirty Pretty Things star is refusing to give up details of his acting roles, but reveals the first of his thespian ventures will begin in January (10).

The roles won't be Barat's first acting parts - he portrayed rock 'n' roll icon Gene Vincent in the movie Telstar.
