CARLY SIMON'S MUSIC 'CURES' ALZHEIMER PATIENT US singer/songwriter CARLY SIMON has hailed her latest album MOONLIGHT SERENADE as magical music - insisting it is so spiritual it can cure Alzheimer's disease. The NOBODY DOES IT BETTER hitmaker, whose compilation of classic American songs has become her highest charting record in over 30 years, is convinced her unique brand of pop has succeeded where doctors, scientists and surgeons have failed. She says, "My son BEN gave a copy to a friend, whose grandmother was in a nursing home. Rocker SIR MICK JAGGER and actor WARREN BEATTY have been ruled out as the inspiration for CARLY SIMON's hit single YOU'RE SO VAIN. The singer/songwriter has romanced both men but insists neither is the elusive person behind the 30-year-old classic. "There's one obvious answer that nobody has yet come up with, so it just goes
on.
"But I know revealing his identity would be somewhat of an anti-climax."
