Cheryl Cole Discusses Her Divorce

Cheryl Cole has talked about her divorce from footballer Ashley Cole for the first time since their split, and has said that she feels utterly betrayed by Ashley.

The pop star opened up to Vogue magazine and admitted that she was glad the couple had never had children, because that would have made the split much harder to bear.

"Of course, it is heartbreaking, but it’s not anything remotely like it could have been and I’m very, very thankful for that," she says. "I’ve got to take everything that’s happened and learn from it. I accept that that’s a chapter of my life that’s finished."

Sources close to Cheryl are whispering that she may soon go public with the news of her relationship with Derek Hough, so watch this space...
