Cheryl Cole Fights For The Number One Spot

Cheryl Cole’s first solo single, Fight For This Love might have only been out for a few days, but it has already snatched the number one spot from her X Factor protégé Alexandra Burke.

After performing her debut on The X Factor this weekend, the Girls loud star managed to shift a whopping 134,000 copies in just one day, practically securing her a place as this Sunday’s number one.

The stunning singer took the title from Alexandra Burke like candy form a baby as her current number one single, Bad Boys, only shifted 185,000 copies over a seven-day period.

Not content with K-Oing Alex, Cheryl also smashed Robbie Williams’ hopes for a number one, which sold 88,000 copies after his performance on the previous week's X Factor live show.
