Chris Brown Fights For Assault Case To Be Dropped

Ever since we heard that Rihanna was beaten at the hands of boyfriend Chris Brown, we’ve been calling for justice on her behalf, but it seems that Chris is pretty anrgy at having to step into court.

In fact, the star is fighting to have his assault case dismissed due to "outrageous governmental misconduct." Although he did plead not guilty to the charges on April 7, the case still goes on to find the truth behind what happened to Rihanna after that fateful pre-Grammy awards party on February 8.

Yesterday morning, the singer's lawyer Mark Geragos appeared at Los Angeles County Court where he asked again for the case to be dismissed on the grounds of the photograph of a 'beaten-up' Rihanna being leaked. He added: "Leaks can form the basis for a motion to dismiss the case in regard to outrageous governmental misconduct."
