Chris Brown Pleads Guilty To Rihanna Assault

Chris Brown has spent months denying that he assaulted ex-girlfriend Rihanna, but as the couple came face to face in court yesterday, Chris Brown pleaded guilty to the charge.

Chris Brown is now facing five years' probation and has been ordered to do six months of community service in a last-minute plea deal which came just before a hearing at the Los Angeles court where Rihanna was due to give evidence.

Rihanna believes the given sentence was "fair" and I imagine Chris Brown is breathing a sigh of relief after he initially faced four years in jail, but has now got away with five years of supervised probation and six months of community labour, which will involve tasks such as picking up litter or removing graffiti.

But one part of his sentence we are all pleased to see, is that the 19 year old will have to attend courses on domestic violence as well as to stay at least 50 yards from each other, except at entertainment industry events when the distance is reduced to 10 yards.

But the real question is, do you agree with the final verdict?
