Chrissie Hynde 'Thrilled' With New Man

Chrissie Hynde initially turned down the idea of forming a partnership with former Grace frontman J.P. Jones - because she didn't want to be responsible for ending his career early.

The Pretenders star now tours as part of JP, Chrissie & The Fairground Boys but admits she had major reservations about revamping her own career with a man young enough to be her son.

She explains, "My first thought was, 'I'm on the way out, I've become nothing'. That wouldn't bode well for a young artist."

The couple has really hit it off as collaborators and have now formed a record label together and plan to launch a vegan clothing line later this year.
