Pretenders frontwoman Chrissie Hynde has quit drinking - because her wild antics were spiralling out of control.

The singer ended up sharing a same-sex smooch with another woman on a recent booze-fuelled night out.

She admits experience has scared her into giving up alcohol - because she never knows what kind of trouble she will get into.

Hynde says, "I last drank two weeks ago and I've put the cork in the bottle - I'm never drinking again.
