Eric Clapton's former Venice Beach property is being sold off by a Japanese Business man to benefit the survivor's of the March 11th earthquake and tsunami disasters in Japan.
The property is the only private residence to be designed by celebrated Japanese architect Arata Isozaki and will hit the property market for an estimated $2.5 million (£1.6 million).
The sale will also include a never before released solo recording that Clapton left behind when he sold the property in 2003.
The guitarist, nicknamed Slowhand, owned the home for five years. The property features custom furnishings by Getty Museum artisan Ronald Bennett.
Clapton is one of the world's most famous and influential guitarists. In 2003 Rolling Stone ranked him fourth in their list of the best guitarists of all time.
