Rapper Common refuses to see the negative in Terminator Salvation co-star Christian Bale's on-set meltdown - because it was great promotion for the new film.
The rap star was on-set and in his trailer when Bale took exception to director of photography Shane Hurlbut stepping into his line of vision tocorrect a lighting problem during a tense scene.
Common insists he didn't hear his co-star's foul-mouthed rant, but he quickly realized something was amiss when he got the call to clear the set.
Common insists anyone who thinks Bale is a bad man for the tirade he rained down on Hurlbut is a fool I want to say to everybody Christian Bale is a great human being, a great guy, and some things happen like that
And he now insists the media furor about the leaked audio tape, which featured Bale's outrage, was all a fuss over nothing and it was big boost for the film
"Let's just call it a misunderstanding... It eventually became promo for Terminator Salvation. Some people put music to it and it was a song out in the clubs - his (Bale) song was bigger than mine".
