Country Star Willie Nelson records cover album for charity

  Willie Nelson is following in the unlikely footsteps of Susan Boyle and has re-recorded Wild Horses, originally from the Rolling Stones. Nelson is completing the project in order to raise cash for a wildlife charity.

  The grizzled country star and members of his family have revamped the tune for an iTunes release.

  All proceeds from sales of the digital download will benefit the Animal Welfare Institute.

  Nelson sings on the track with his kids Paula, Lukas, Amy, Micah and Susie - and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
