Courtney Love feels conflicted over her legal battle against the makers of Guitar Hero - because she's convinced her husband Kurt Cobain would have adored the video game.

Gaming giant Activision included the late rocker as a character in Guitar Hero 5, which was released last year (09), allowing players to use Cobain's image to perform a number of other artists' songs.

Nirvana stars Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic were "dismayed" that theirformer bandmate could be seen rocking out on other groups' hits, while Love threatened to sue over the game.

But the Hole rocker insists Cobain would have enjoyed playing Guitar Hero.

She tells Britain's Nme magazine, "What pisses me off the most about itis I think Kurt would be fine with having five Kurt Cobains singing the (Spice Girls) song Wannabe, like, 'Tell me what you want, what you reallyreally want.'... I think he'd find that really funny.

"But at the same time it's gross what they did. Gwen (Stefani) started the lawsuit. I have really good lawyers now and will join that lawsuit. There was this grey area and they f**ked the lot of us.
