Cyndi Lauper Gets Sued

Isn’t it weird that people who aren’t even famous anymore can still find themselves getting sued? Cyndi Lauper has been hit with a lawsuit for pulling out of a week of shows in Germany.

Moderne Welt claims the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun star had signed up for seven concerts in Germany in July - and then pulled out of the deal a week later.

The plaintiffs insist Lauper's agent gave them the go-ahead to publicise the shows and then they were informed the deal was off "due to film and television commitments."

The German company now wants Lauper to hand over $800,000 (£533,300).
