Daniel Radcliffe is convinced social media is to blame for the rise in teenage suicides - because victims of bullying no longer have a chance to "escape" at the end of the school day.

An increasing number of teens have taken their own lives after prolonged exposure to cyber-bullying and the Harry Potter star is urging fans to promote cultural understanding by doing their part to "help another person if they're in trouble".
He tells U.K. magazine Attitude, "It's not surprising when you considerhow accessible a bullying victim is now. You used to be able to escape at the end of a day (but) now you can be hunted by mobile phone, Facebook,Twitter. It's terrifying".
