Dannii Minogue might be having a baby, but it seems that maternity pay doesn’t come into account when you’re a celebrity, as she’s been warned that she will face a pay cut this year because she will miss the first half of the show.

We love Dannii Minogue and to be honest, we cant actually imagine the show without her now, so if that means her current £1million contract taking a hit, then so be it - but we can’t help but think it’s a little unfair.

One source said, “If a solution can be worked out she will be back at the live stages. It doesn’t look like her pregnancy is going to present any problems we can’t work around.”

It’s thought that the logistics will be sorted today, so we hope Dannii doesn’t get short changed, in the meantime, who would YOU like to see as a guest judge?

Obviously this is a contract position and like all contract work you do not get Maternity pay or sick pay.

she should take a pay cut as shes not actually doing her job for a while its not as if shes a shop asst on minimum wage they already get exorbitant wages so im sure she wont be destitut... Read More

They say its not fair that she gets a pay cut i would of loved 500 grand for a few months work normally let alone on maternity leave, thats life she wanted a baby then deal with it.

Yeah my heart goes out to her, My daughter is avaliable to do her job. Im sure if they contact her She will take up the slack for the other £700,000. She realy could do with the money.
