AMA’S first prize to Daughtry

On Sunday night, (18Nov07) at the American Music Awards (AMA) at the Nokia Theatre in L.A, the first big prize was handed out to rockers, Daughtry.American idol star, Chris Daughtry fronts the band who beat, Plain White Ts and Robin Thicke for the night’s Breakthrough Artist honour. Former Idol winner, Carrie Underwood scooped the same award last year and presented Daughtry with the prize on Sunday.
