Dave Mustaine having neck surgery

Dave Mustaine is to undergo surgery on his neck.

The Megadeth star almost pulled out of Wednesday's Big Four concert at the new Yankee Stadium in New York due to the pain, but struggled through the set.

Mustaine told fans he siffered an injury during Megadeth's recent Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival Tour.
