Mustaine Gave Megadeth Fan Extra Life

Megadeth rocker Dave Mustaine is convinced he has healing powers after prolonging the life of a fan with terminal cancer.

The flame-haired metal star was made an honorary Kentucky Colonel aftergiving the sick man the encouragement to outlive his doctor's prognosis.

And the certificate has become one of his most prized possessions.

He tells Spin magazine, "I met a fan in Kentucky who had throat cancer.He was only supposed to live a few weeks. "For some reason, I reached out, grabbed his throat, and started praying for the dude.

He lived long enough to give me this (certificate) on ournext tour".
