Crosby, Stills and Nash star David Crosby has marked what would have been pal Jerry Garcia's 70th birthday with a poem.
The rocker will read Cause I'm Missing Jerry Tonight during a show at Bob Weir's venue in San Rafael, California on Friday.
The heartfelt poem begins "If I had to pick one of us to speak for us allHe would have done the job wellComing from some crazy angleHe'd have known which story to tellHe'd tell the truth about real musicHe knew the truth long before he fell..".
Garcia died of a heart attack in August, 1995, just days after celebrating his 53rd birthday.
