Kind-hearted rockers DEF LEPPARD changed the route of their upcoming Australian tour to make sure they will be in Perth to play at a charity show.
The band will head Down Under in the autumn, and when they were asked to be a part of an annual telethon organised by the Channel 7 TV network, they re-arranged their shows to make sure they will be in the right place at the right time.
They will now be in Peth to play the event on 15 October (11) at the city's Nib Stadium, and Channel 7 Perth general manager Ray Wardrop is thrilled they made such a massive effort to take part.
He tells The West Australian, "To change their tour dates and make special arrangements to ensure they are in Perth on the Telethon weekend says a lot about the band and their management team."
The British heavy metal legends will kick-off their Aussie tour in Perth with a show at the nib Stadium with rockers Heart on October 15.
