dionne bromfield was two hours late for a school exam on Tuesday (12Jun12) after her flight from Scotland was delayed.
The 16-year-old Brit, the goddaughter of late singer Amy Winehouse, was booked to fly to London for a test the morning after she attended the Scottish Fashion Awards in Glasgow on Monday (11Jun12).
However, Bromfield's journey was unexpectedly delayed, leaving her with just minutes to spare before the exam for her General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) was due to commence.
In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, she wrote, "Bye bye Glasgow... Now on a flight to London to try at get to my exam for 9am.... Let's see how this works out! On The Move.
"ONLY just landed in London and I've got 5 mins (minutes) to get to my exam... Gonna be so late!! If there's a will... there's a way... I hope so anyway".
Updating her followers later in the day, she declared "So after being 2hrs (hours) late for the exam...
"I got it done in the end! Woooo!!!"
