Rockers Fight Racism.... Dirty Pretty Things rocker Carl Barat is urging music fans throughout the UK to join the fight against racism and bigotry.The former Libertines star is involved in the LoveMusicHateRacism campaign, which organises positive events and activities to bring people together against right-wing organisations including the British National Party (Bnp).The band are on the line-up for the initiative's upcoming London concert in Barking, east of the capital, at the end of the month (Sep06). Barat says, "For evil to triumph, all that is necessary is that good people do nothing. Apathy is a killer and it's easy to be complacent. We're dedicated to this in the same way we're dedicated to melody and bringing people together through music".
