Scriptwriters forget about Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton might be one of the greatest female singers around, but that wasn't enough to land her a role in the forthcoming Hannah Montana movie; because scriptwriters forgot to include her.

The 9 to 5 singer appeared in several episodes of the popular Disney show, playing the aunt of teen sensation Miley Cyrus - her real life goddaughter.

And Parton expected a walk-on part in the show's big screen spin-off, which hits cinemas in May, yet she was shocked to find she hadn't made the cut. Parton says, "I'm not in the movie. I wish I had been. I said I would love to (be in it)! I assumed that they were gonna be writing me a part."
