Reinhardt in Nightclub Scare

Paris Hilton's on/off boyfriend Doug Reinhardt was left fearing for his life after a man pulled out a gun as the star tried to stop a bar brawl.

Reinhardt was partying at hotspot Hush in Laguna Beach, California on Tuesday (15Sep09) when one of his pals began fighting with a man outside the venue, reports Tmz.

The Hills star then rushed to break up the feud - and was terrified after a fellow reveller pulled out a firearm.

Police were called to the scene but the fracas had ended by the time officers showed up to the location.

It's not the first time the 23 year old has found himself at the centre of conflict during a night out - Reinhardt was allegedly beaten up by a bodyguard while trying to defend heiress Hilton at a Miami, Florida nightclub in March (09).
