Le Bon's Drug Fears For Ronson....

Duran Duran star Simon Le Bon feared superproducer Mark Ronson "was on drugs" when they first discussed plans for a collaboration - because the musicmaker's ideas were so far-fetched.Ronson joined forces with the Rio hitmakers for the Smirnoff Experience - an intimate one-off show in Paris, France on Wednesday (02Jul08) night.The producer re-worked the band's classic tracks, giving the performance the feel of a DJ set.

And Le Bon admits that when they first held talks with the Grammy-winner, he was convinced Ronson was taking illegal substances because he was coming up with such weird ideas.He tells FemaleFirst, "The first conversation we had, were we in Tokyo and Mark was in Germany. It was one of those telephone hook-ups. It seemed like he was on drugs, quite frankly."Because of the kind of ideas he was coming up with, we were just like, 'Oh my God, where is he getting these ideas from?' They were completely off the wall."But we were happy because it was so unpredictable".
