Timberlake Kissed Biel to Trump Hoffman

Justin Timberlake's court-side kiss with Jessica Biel was spurred on by male pride - the singer was determined to outshine Dustin Hoffman's publicclinch with his wife.

The SexyBack hitmaker and his girlfriend were enjoying the Los Angeles Lakers game on Tuesday (21-Apr-09) when Hoffman was picked out by the Kiss Me Cam - designed to catch couples puckering up.

The Rain Man star passionately embraced wife Lisa and the image was beamed onto the big screen during the sports match.

But they were playing Sonny and Cher's I Got You Babe and we were watching all these elderly people kiss and it got kind of weird for a second, I'm not going to lie - but it was really endearing

But Timberlake was determined Hoffman wouldn't steal the limelight awayfrom him and Biel - and grabbed his girl for a sexy smooch.

During an appearance on U.S. chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night (22-Apr-09), Timberlake says, "I have to clarify that picture - we'renot actually that much of exhibitionists, in front of 18,000 people.

"But they were playing Sonny and Cher's I Got You Babe and we were watching all these elderly people kiss and it got kind of weird for a second, I'm not going to lie - but it was really endearing.

"They cut to Dustin Hoffman and his wife and he planted an open-mouthedkiss on her, that was award-winning in its own way, and they cut to us and I was not to be outdone! So I mouthed in (kissed) my girlfriend in front of 18,000 people".

But Timberlake later realised his spontaneous decision to pucker up left Biel shocked "It actually looks like she's struggling for breath!"
