Sir Elton John throws bash for Furnish

Sir Elton John has thrown a birthday party for his partner David Furnish in New York.

The singer hosted a bash for 60 guests at The Four Seasons restaurant on Tuesday for Furnish's 49th birthday.

Stars including Rufus Wainwright, Barbara Walters, Calvin Klein and Billie Jean King were all there as Furnish was handed three cakes from the Magnolia Bakery with the words 'Happy Birthday David' written on each, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.
