EURYTHMICS RECORD NEW TRACKS
British pop duo EURYTHMICS have reunited to record new tracks for a 25th
anniversary greatest hits album.
ANNIE LENNOX and DAVE STEWART have recorded new tunes I'VE GOT A LIFE and WAS
IT JUST ANOTHER LOVE AFFAIR? for the new retrospective, which will also feature
hits like MISSIONARY MAN and SWEET DREAMS (ARE MADE OF THIS).
The new tracks, recorded in Los Angeles, mark the couple's first new material
in more than five years.
Stewart insists the pair didn't actually plan to record new tracks: "Annie
was staying with me in Los Angeles and we seemed to spontaneously write and
record some songs. It was just like the old days, songs coming at lightning
speed and recorded and mixed in a week."
The ULTIMATE COLLECTION album will be released in November (05).
