Former Fall Out Boy star Pete Wentz has given up his search for a "quirky British girl" to front his new reggae band after finding the perfect fit recording in a studio adjacent to where he and bandmate Sam Hollander were working on new tunes.
Wentz has revealed that unknown Bebe Rexha will front his new act, Black Cards.
On discovering the singer, he says, "I just heard this voice blasting and I said, 'Why are we so focused on finding a quirky, British girl?' There's somebody in the next room who has these awesome melodies and can really sing and isn't jaded. She's just an awesome, natural talent."
