Fall out Boy star Pete Wentz is certain new U.S. President Barack Obama is the right man for the job - and is convinced the Democrat will guide America out of troubled times.The rocker and his band attended the Huffington Post Pre-Inaugural Ball on Monday (19Jan09) to celebrate Obama's swearing in as the 44th President of the United States.

He’s got to get us out of that and I think he’s the guy to do it

And Wentz has a huge amount of confidence in Obama's abilities. He tells OK! magazine, "I think once you get him in the pilot's chair he’s going to be fine. I was just really hoping that he made it here."I think he has a pretty big, not necessarily fiscal deficit, but that’s part of it, but just a deficit that Americans have kind of been sitting in with hope and with ideas and with foreign policy. He’s got to get us out of that and I think he’s the guy to do it."
