Rockers Fall out Boy have returned to their roots to revamp the theme to the cartoon series which gave them their name.The group has re-recorded Danny Elfman's Simpsons theme for an upcoming episode of the animated series.The band took its name from the name of a fictional comic book superhero sidekick, who appeared on the show in the mid-1990s.Fall out Boy's heavy metal version of the iconic theme debuted on Sunday (25Jan09) in America.The band isn't the first to tackle Elfman's theme - Yo La Tengo, Sonic Youth, Los Lobos and Green Day have all recorded the tune.0Comments | Be the first to comment!
