Fatboy Slim's 'son' record

Fatboy Slim is working with Jack Penate on his new album.The producer - real name Norman Cook - revealed he is to collaborate with the 'Torn on the Platform' singer after discovering they share similar music tastes.He explained: "We were doing a tune and I said I wanted to achieve the same atmosphere as 'The Only Living Boy In New York' by Simon and Garfunkel. Jack was like, 'Oh that's one of my favourite songs'. "So, we share the same influences and hence came up with the same music."According to Fatboy Slim, the pair get on so well, they refer to each other as 'dad' and 'son'.He added to BBC 6 Music: "He's a fantastic musician and I've really enjoyed working with him. He calls me dad and very time I text him I call him son. I think He's very proud to have me as a dad and I'm very proud to have him as a son."Their efforts will feature on Jack's second album, the follow-up to last year's 'Matinee'.
