Foals Fine With Morrissey Snub

British rockers Foals were delighted when their hero Morrissey arrived unannounced at one of their gigs - but the singer was unimpressed and walked out after three tracks.
The band was told the former The Smiths frontman had been added to its guestlist just an hour before showtime.
The singer duly arrived at the venue in Camden, London for the concert earlier this year (10) but didn't stay long - and the five-piece group insist they are happy with the snub.
Keyboard player Edwin Congreave tells radio station XFM, "We were told about an hour before that he was on the guestlist, and I was astonished. I was a teen fan of The Smiths, as a lot of people are, I kind of idolised them.
"And Morrissey is obviously famous for being a bit of a d**k, for want of a better word. I was excited he was coming to our show and I wanted toknow what he thought of us. And, true to form, he left after about threesongs. So I think he told us what he thinks of us. And that's absolutely fine. We're not The Smiths and never will be".
