The Foo Fighters are set to head out on the road next month for a set of shows in the U.S. The unique thing about this tour however, is that the gigs are taking place in the houses and garages of their fans.
The band that everyone loves has launched a competition on their website, and eight lucky winners and 50 of their friends will win an up-close-and-personal performance in their own home.
All fans have to do to win the Blackberry sponsored competition, is type in their Zip-code on the Foo Fighters website. Unfortunately, the competition is only open to the U.S, but the band has recently announced a handful of European festival dates.
The gigs will take place next month, and I'm sure you will hear plenty of stories about how exciting the performances were. Get ready to be very jealous of the winners.
This news follows the confirmation of a release date for their new album, called Wasting Light. The 11 track CD is out on April 12th through Roswell, you can hear previews and see the video for the first single Rope on their website now.
