The band, led by frontman Dave Grohl, will put on a show in Holmby Hills, California on 15 February (12) to raise money for the Democrat's campaign ahead of the American election later this year (12).

The gig will be held at the home of soap opera writerproducer Bradley Bell and ticket prices will range from between $250 (?156) for general admission to $1,500 (?625), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"I would hate to hand the administration over to another party that is just focused on corporations, greed and money.
