Foo Fighters had a busy, jet-setting Saturday night (19May12)- they helicoptered to New York from New Jersey's Bamboozle music festival to jam with Mick Jagger.

Dave Grohl's band headlined the Asbury Park festival and then dashed toManhattan to perform Rolling Stones standards 19th Nervous Breakdown andIt's Only Rock 'n' Roll with Jagger during his live appearance on Saturday Night Live.

Talking to fans at Bamboozle before taking the stage at the festival, Grohl said Jagger was impressed when he heard the the band would be gig hopping "He thought that was the coolest thing he ever heard".

Also hitting the stages at Bamboozle on Saturday Skrillex, A$AP Rocky,All American Rejects and local heroes Jimmy Eat World and My Chemical Romance, who stepped in at the last minute to replace Blink 182 after they cancelled due to drummer Travis Barker's emergency tonsillectomy.
