Carter's Illness Causes Gallows Tour Cancellation

British rockers Gallows have cancelled all of their remaining U.K. tour dates for the rest of the year (09) after guitarist Steph Carter was struck down with a mystery illness.

Steph is still unwell and has been told that he will not be able to play any more shows this year and so this has forced us to pull out of these shows

The band was due to perform in Watford, south east England on Thursday (17Dec09), London on Friday (18Dec09) and Newcastle, north east England on Tuesday (22Dec09) - but the trio of gigs have now been scrapped.

In a statement, the group says, "Steph is still unwell and has been told that he will not be able to play any more shows this year and so this has forced us to pull out of these shows. "We're really sorry to disappoint all our fans who were looking forwardto seeing us in 2009 but we promise we'll come back better and stronger than ever in 2010 and we hope you'll join us next year".

Only the Watford concert will be rescheduled for next year (10) and ticketholders have been offered refunds.
