Country music icon George Jones has been hospitalised in Tennessee.
The singer was admitted to a Nashville-area medical centre on Monday (21May12) after suffering a lingering upper respiratory infection, according to CMT.com.
Jones was originally hospitalised for the infection at the end of March(12) and returned Home five days later.
As a result of his ongoing health problems, his concert dates for May and June have been rescheduled, and he has been forced to pull the plug ona scheduled concert at the LORETTA LYNN Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee on Friday (25May12) - his first scheduled performance since his initial hospitalisation.
